Bulgaria is a wonderful country situated in Eastern Europe still waiting to be discovered by tourists. It was founded in 681 and its lands were inhabited since the 6 th century B.C. Bulgaria posesses lots of historical monuments and unique natural landmarks. In the Bulgarian lands is found the most ancient processed gold treasure known on Earth as well as numerous Thracian tumuli. There are still preserved majestic remains of ancient civilizations. The hundreds of churches, architectural ensambles are a memory of bygone times but they are still preserved. Rila and Pirin are of the Alpine type of mountains. Here you can find the Balkan Range, known as “the Godfathers” of the whole peninsula. The Rhodopes are a sea of green hills, which hide unusual natural charm.
