Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Lidia Tours LTD is taking the step towards incorporating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies towards greener offices and operations. We are also currently promoting Green Meeting in Sofia and the country. The CSR policies of Lidia Tours are based on the triple bottom line: People, Planet and Profit.

There are enough options so that Sustainable Events are organized in Bulgaria. In order to speed the change, and spread the word of sustainable business practices, we start with the incorporation of standards. That is why Lidia Tours has assigned the Assistant MICE Manager – Magdalina Yarichkova, to join the Expert Team that will steer the writing of the new ISO 20121 for Sustainable Events. Magdalina is also one of the CSR Speakers, part of MPI’s Platinum Program, thus insuring that the CSR policies of the company are fully incorporated and tailored for the destination and its infrastructure.

Lidia Tours’ Team is committed to ensuring a fast adaption of the policies within the operation of the company, and further, influencing the stakeholders and competitors at local level. Each year, Lidia Tours will publish a yearly Report showing the results and development in this area.
